A big thank you for all who took part and helped at Captain's Day. The new format seemed to work well and could become a template for the future. Many thanks to the Scouts who loaned us their Marquees and they managed to raise over £800 for their funds.

Our professional, Duncan, is meeting a Representative from the Paul Lawrie organisation with a view to developing ideas for his Golf Academy and the practice field and I will keep you updated on this.

The Kirkhill teams have now started their various leagues with mixed fortunate, and the company has been excellent.

On a more serious note, I would like to remind everyone that Greens Staff have priority when tending the course, and players MUST wait until signalled through. Steps are being taken to increase the visibility of the Greens Staff. Also a reminder that players should endeavour to keep pace with the game in front. This is particularly important at busy times as a courtesy to fellow golfers and maximises use of the course.
